Newport Pops Brand Identity
The Challenge:
Establish the Newport Pops brand as fun gourmet popsicle option on the east coast.
The Insight:
Tying together a bright color palette with nautical imagery will assist with the brand’s authenticity as a Newport, Rhode Island staple.
The Solution:
Offer multiple iterations of the logo in different colors from the palette. This will expand the brand’s flexibility as new flavors become available, while keeping the main imagery repetitive and recognizable.
The Highlights:
As a coastal city, Newport businesses tend to have nautical imagery in their branding. Many options revolve around bridges and ships, but we decided to take a more playful approach for the popsicle brand. The imagery of a tentacle holding a popsicle as a trident is fun and colorful, while still fitting into the feel of Newport.
Multicolor packaging allows for flexibility as Newport Pops establishes new flavors and expands its offerings.
