Norpel Brand Identity

The Challenge:

Help Norpel expand its current seafood offerings to include packaging for a pet food product line. 

The Insight:

Tweak the well-established brand just enough to feel fresh and new. 

The Solution:

Use watercolor style illustrations to convey the premium and organic nature of the new pet food line. Pair the existing logo with an accent type treatment to establish the new line as a branch of the existing brand.

The Highlights:

Norpel is well known for its premium seafood offerings, but wanted to expand its product line to include pet food. The new product should benefit from the familiarity of Norpel’s brand while emphasizing the variety of organic meats used for the pet food. 

Various icons were illustrated in a simple watercolor style to represent the types of food available. More detailed animals were also created to help distinguish pet food packaging from other products.
