Salt Beauty Lab Murals
The Challenge:
Shortly after a rebrand, Salt was moving into a space 5x the size of the original salon. Looking to make the space feel like an experience, Salt needed a way to make the salon unique while remaining true to their new brand.
The Insight:
With such a huge white space, the salon owner was overwhelmed with options. We mocked up several ideas, showing the owner many options for adding warmth and excitement without being over-the-top or too colorful. The owner really wanted the space to feel neutral, organic, and timeless.
The Solution:
Three walls of murals tie the space together. The flow of the rooms felt a bit odd at first, but by tying the two “treatment” areas together with the monstera mural, the rooms now feel like one big space with a clear welcoming branded mural in the middle. When clients walk in, there is no doubting they’re in the right place.
